The Orthopantomograph®
OP100 D unit continues the world famous legacy of the name Orthopantomograph® or OPG .
The decades of experience in panoramic imaging is combined with
the newest CCD technology and image processing algorithms.
 Perfection
in image quality
The
OP100 D unit features advanced high-frequency generator technology
to produce more efficient radiation, which in combination with the
small 0.35 x 0.5 mm focal spot, ensures excellent high-resolution
images. The latest CCD technology, a fiber optic link and sophisticated
image pre-processing algorithms generate high quality image capture
and transmission.
Correct imaging
values – automatically
Automatic Exposure Control (
AEC
) and Automatic Spine Compensation (ASC), utilizing Instrumentarium Dental's unique and patented software algorithms, generate correct imaging
values, exposure after exposure, with any size of the patient and
with all users.
Correct positioning
is assured by three positioning light lines.
Frankfurt
and mid-sagittal lights aid correct angulation of the
patient’s head and the Occlusion correction light guides in
occlusal correction. An electromagnetically locked forehead support
is used together with a chin rest and bite fork to eliminate patient
movement. Patient positioning is possible from the left or right
side of the OP100 D panoramic X-ray unit.

Versatile
tools for easy diagnosis
In addition to the many standard imaging programs, the special
panoramic programs are also available. The Orthogonal, Ortho Zone,
and Wide Arch programs facilitate easy diagnosis even with difficult
clinical conditions. The lateral TMJ view program can be replaced
with the alternative Ortho TMJ program for obtaining a corrected
lateral angle view.

image processing and viewing tools of the CliniView™ PC based
software provides excellent conditions for reliable diagnosis
Expanding
according to your needs
The Orthopantomograph® has been made to last. Over the years
it has earned a reputation for extreme durability. The OP100 D X-ray
unit can be upgraded with cephalometric imaging (OC100 D) or with
optional imaging programs. Even your existing film based Orthopantomograph®
OP100 unit can be upgraded to the digital OP100 D or OC100 D models.
Open connectivity
The system can also be interfaced to other software applications
such as practice management and diagnostic analysis software. As
an advanced solution for the hospital environment optional DICOM
3.0 (Digital Imaging Communication in Medicine) software,enables
transfer of images and adherent medical data.
